Sunshine Solutions - Medication Packaging We understand that every facility is different and has it’s own set of systems and challenges. Because we know this, we allow you to choose the medication packaging and delivery system that best suits your environment and staffing set up. We offer two forms of Unit Dose packaging, one multi-dose option, and the Opus 14-day cycled medication system. Each offers a diverse set of advantages.
	Unit Dose Packaging Medications are packaged in 30/60/90 increments and are ordered on demand. They are easily discontinued without affecting other medications. Packaging is disposable. Punch cards allow staff to easily count remaining medications.
	Medicine On Time This multi-dose system is filled on a cycle and delivered every 30 days. It is organized by color to indicate time of day administration is due. Each medication pouch is labeled with the residents name, time medications are due to be given, medication name and dosing information. Pouches can be separated from the remaining doses for portability.
	Opus Unit Dose System This unit dose system is set up in a cycled format so facilities automatically receive new cassettes every two weeks. Cassettes are organized by color to indicate time of day administration is due and the staff can follow clearly marked days of the week labeled on each. Medication changes are easily managed with this system. All packaging options include complete pharmacy label information to offer you the safety and security of knowing your staff will be able to easily follow the 5 Rights of Administration: Right Resident Right Medication Right Dose Right Time Right Route And our monthly document printing services will further encourage right documentation.
